This lock is excellent for garage doors. If you have a solid tilt a door, that’s a door that is one big door that lifts from the bottom. This lock is the best solution for security. The easy installation of this lock is one of the main attractions for this lock, along with excellent security. To install this lock you only need to drill 3 holes, The lock is mounted to the front bottom edge of the door with 2 large bolts from the inside, Once attached to the door you will need to drill a hole in the concrete for the bolt. The bolt of this lock goes deep into the concrete.  To keep you lock working well its recommended to vacuum the hole once a year to stop build up.  To lock you simply turn the key and slide the bolt in, Once you turn the key back the lock is locked. If you want to have the door unlocked, you can reverse the bolt and lock it into the lock, so the bot won’t get lost. The lock comes with 2 keys, the lock can be matched to your order or matched to any standard Lockwood key you like.  Extra-long lock pins are available on request as well as packing plates if needed
